75% Superwash merino 25% Nylon Sock yarn
400 Metres per 100 gms approx. Inspiration came from the bark and trunks of the Snow Gums, a beautiful gnarled Eucalyptus tree found in the Southern Alps of Australia.
As with most of my dyeing the colours are my interpretation with a twist. No 2 skeins are exactly the same which is the beauty of hand dyed yarn.
They are hand dyed using acid dyes and all care is taken to rinse dye residue, but I would recommend rinsing after use.
Hand dyed in the Southern Highlands of NSW in a Smoke free and pet free home. Ideal for socks and shawls.
Even great for sweaters and cardigans.
