About Us
Colour is what Waratah Fibres is all about. Taking the Australian landscape with its unique flora and fauna as inspiration, I create hand-dyed yarns and fibres for all textile artists.
After living in the UK, I have continued my love of the unique British breeds of sheep. I use these, especially some of the rarer breeds like the lustrous Wensleydale, to produce something a bit different.
Combined with some great Australian yarns and fibre, I produce a range of dyed yarns and fibres to suit all tastes.

FIBRES

YARN
Available in 8 ply, 4 ply and 2 ply superwash. Silky Merino is available in 2 ply and 4 ply. We often have additional yarns available. Please enquire by contacting us.
DYES
High quality dyes with a vibrant color range, which can be strengthened or diluted to suit you. We include everything needed for easy dyeing, no messy mixing or weighing. Color fast results in just 30 minutes. Wonderful for natural fibers, such as wool, silk, mohair and also nylon.
